These Terms govern your use of World Genetics. By using the website, you agree to these Terms.

Service

World Genetics provides informational ancestry tools that convert compatible raw DNA files into G25-style coordinates and visual reports, including closest population matches, heatmaps, and ancestral breakdown calculators.

Informational use only

World Genetics reports are for educational, genealogical, and entertainment purposes. They are not medical, diagnostic, legal, or professional advice. The results are statistical estimates and should not be treated as exact ancestry, identity, ethnicity, nationality, or health determinations.

User responsibility

• You must only upload raw DNA data that you have the right to use.
• You are responsible for keeping downloaded reports private and secure.
• You agree not to use the service for unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, or harmful purposes.

Payments

Raw-data conversion is sold as a one-time digital report. One payment unlocks one report generation for one raw DNA upload. Manual G25 coordinate input may be available without payment.

Availability

We try to keep World Genetics available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, compatibility with every raw DNA file, or permanent availability of every feature.

Intellectual property

The World Genetics name, interface, design, code, and report format are owned by World Genetics or its licensors. Reference datasets and third-party services may have their own rights, licenses, and terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, World Genetics is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for decisions made based on report results.
